My 3 year old and I have the same craft skills so we made this set together. It was definitely a doable project for a preschooler and parent even if he says 6+. However, we were disappointed that the glue was useless (good old Elmer works great with these materials). As the fringes of the fabric are not trimmed, you will also need scissors (not included) to shape the sides. The instructions are simple and not very helpful; It's easier to just look at the photo and go from there. They don't tell you how close to place the napkin, how many rows of each color to use, where to apply door panel glue, etc., and while creativity should always be encouraged, clear directions can also let creativity flow and make it happen. easier to understand the pattern.
