Your new product sucks!
The only option I've used for the K&N cold air intake is that I put it on my new 2006 Duramax. Quality, design and assembly are simply top! This design allows hot air to flow around the air filter! How cold air is supplied when the breather draws air from the engine. My counter will just go up to 145, and so will the filter! I contacted support, they said the exchange would take at least 3 weeks. There's no time for that! Research first!
