This is a decent kids goal considering it's pressurized. We were looking for something permanent for our stairs that would not damage or require permanent fixings. Husband installed it in 30 minutes. He had to make some adjustments as you are limited by the size of the extensions. There is a fairly large gap where the screws are located as the additional extension options make the installation too tall. See photo from owner's manual for extension dimensions for reference. Overall I'm happy with it so far, my 18 month old couldn't knock it off and my 5 year old can open it (although it took some training). Note the limitations of the expansion options, as well as the fact that there is a bar at the bottom that you have to climb.
