I spray this on my cashmere sweaters after wearing them for a day and then leave them inside out on the back of a chair overnight. Sometimes I find this product helps keep them smelling fresh between washes, but just as often it doesn't seem to do anything or really seems to release odors (in other words, odors get stronger with the next wash). in the morning than when spraying the product on - I have a feeling that the scent of cedar wood sometimes amplifies the problem rather than neutralizes it). I find that a 4:1 mixture of water and white vinegar is actually more effective (the vinegar smell dissipates quickly).
