I bought this when I broke my big toe working for a trucking company and wanted to protect my foot. The sleeve really inflates to enclose your foot and leg as advertised. The hard outer shell was protective. But even with no air in the trunk, there were almost no tools in the trunk to hold the front end together. It opened up with every step I took. And it was noisy, since the Velcro was stretched and distributed to the maximum. And basically it was overkill for what I needed. I'm up 12 hours a day, 6 days a week, moving up and down metal stairs at 13 miles a day. And this boot gave me the impression that it was slipping and sliding over concrete. I need traction and freedom of movement. Btw, I'm a petite woman, shoe size 6.5, and the boot was too small in the calves if the velcro issue is any indication. I ended up buying closed-toe hiking boots to wear to work.
