I don't know if the shoes sold at Walmart are defective or if the company has started cutting corners over the years but this is our 3rd pair of See Kai and after only 6 weeks of wearing the rubber bumper came loose. left shoe! You can also see him climbing onto the right shoe. I have worn a lot on an old pair from a friend's child who is 4 years old but the bumper is very secure and there is no sign of it coming loose. We also had no issues with the previous size of these shoes my daughter recently outgrew them so I bought her these pairs for her first day of kindergarten. She loves these shoes and they are so expensive I am very disappointed that this happened. I will try to contact the company but not sure what they can do as I bought it here. POOH!
