I love this item. I feel like I'm wearing a huge t-shirt and some kind of tight evening dress at the same time (but I tend to be imaginative, results may vary). I could probably sleep in it if I wanted to, but so far I've paired it with a variety of ways to wear it to work (okay with a tailored jacket or wearing a tunic with some embellishments). I'm 5'6" and if you're a little smaller you might need to hem it: I have to pack it up for going up the stairs but it's quite fun. Super comfy. Casual on its own but easy to dress up. Stands up loose enough to forgive my small tummy but pulled up enough to show that I have a waist.
