I paid $12 for it, I got the matte color as described. I received version 9040 of the map (dark background, gray for land masses with red line for international UTC date line) print quality is good, everything is as required, size is just what I needed. It feels good and encloses my desk properly, leaving just enough room to move the keyboard away from my body without permanently losing my cheap desk's cheap, non-wood finish. If you're looking for a matte finish, this option seems like the way to go. In an honest world the rating would be 3 stars - all right, it's matte - nothing really innovative in theory, not a complex technological device (although printing and materials aren't trivial either, I suppose). zero complaints. Everyone expects everything to be 5 stars and not 3. I can honestly say that this one has no flaws and fits my size and style, so 5 stars.
