I bought this coffee maker for a recent trip because I knew the B&B I was staying at didn't have coffee in the room. Couldn't believe how easy it was to use. It's essentially a portable-sized coffee maker, so the amount of coffee used and duration of percolation is a little subtle, as *any* coffee maker tends to do. Once you get it right, your coffee will be perfect and hot! I took a photo to show the size of the mug used - and was able to get almost 2.5 full cups of coffee in one brew with the mug in the photo. Just one caveat - do not pour water up to the fill line or it will overflow. during the brewing process. I had to fill just enough to get the water in the basket. Excellent purchase!
