Review on Bose QuietComfort Ear Cushion Black by Joshua Vogel

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Lasted 3 years, very expensive

They have to be replaced about every three years. It's not amazing durability, but I wouldn't mind if it weren't for the exorbitant price of genuine Bose parts. Well it's Bose what I expected. Anyway, I need my third set now and would buy from Bose again if they were cheaper and/or didn't fall apart so quickly. Delay. If they're uncomfortable, ruin noise-cancellation, or are in some way significantly worse than Bose, I'll probably go back to the 'real article', but I won't be surprised if the secondary versions are good enough. for my purposes. I usually avoid the aftermarket, but the high price of Bose pads combined with their mediocre durability irks me enough to see another solution. I'll post an update if anything interesting comes up.

Pros
  • Quick change
Cons
  • Almost never
