Review on Qibaok Crimping Tool Kit: Ratcheting Crimper with 1550PCS 2.54mm Dupont Connectors and 760pcs 2.54mm JST-XH Connectors for AWG 26-20 (0.1-0.5mm²) by Phillip Johnson

This is the first manual crimping tool available that is suitable for crimping "Dupont" types (I've had 5 different ones before Bought). The insulation crimp width is 1.7 mm and the conductor crimp width is 1.5 mm. One I've used is the Iwiss SN-28B / SN-2549 (common chip sizes for Dupont) but the closest chip is 1.9mm and 1.6mm and the 1.9mm insulating crimp binds almost always when inserting. The depth of the matrix is also okay, 5.7 mm. I haven't used it often for a "JST" style crimp, but it seems to fit (2.0mm insulation and 1.6mm wire), although the 4.6mm depth is a bit steep and means that you must be very careful to place the locking tab on the outside of the die.
