I'm going to review this helmet quite extensively below, but first I'd like to make a quick recommendation. In short: Great helmet, you should get it. At least this is a great passenger helmet. Long Review: This helmet has some great features that you would pay a lot more to get with other helmets or you usually have to add them yourself. My favorite feature is the quick release buckle. This is a five-click adjustable buckle that slides into the buckle and releases with a gentle pull via a quality, thick webbing tab that connects to the release side of the mechanism. This helmet also has 2 high quality visors - clear and tinted. These visors can be easily replaced if necessary. The inner padding is regular foam padding covered with a nice felt lining. It is very comfortable and the side pads can be removed for easy washing. Ventilation openings on the chin and on the top of the head ensure excellent cross ventilation. The neck protection belonging to the helmet is made of leather with a felt lining and sewn-in padding. This makes the protection very comfortable and warm to ride. At first I was skeptical about the quality of this neck brace, but I was pleasantly surprised. The neck brace has a full zip for a secure fit on the helmet but is easy to remove for someone like me who lives in the south and doesn't need it all year round. Overall: A very good helmet with many nice custom features. found on more expensive helmets - all at a great price. Well made ILM product.
