The bag fits perfectly under an airplane seat. After 18 days in Ireland and constant use, the bag showed no signs of wear. It rained, no problem. There are many pockets. I usually use the front cover to hold my 35mm camera (it even holds a 200mm zoom lens). A 13-inch laptop easily fits into an inside pocket, along with an umbrella, spare jacket, GPS navigator, portable charger, cellphone, and charging cables. The back pocket served to store a wallet or other very important papers. I could pack more things but I wanted the limit to be no more than 7kg. Inside is a zippered pocket for keys (and in my case a compass, spare batteries for the camera, spare power cords for the electronics). That's a great thing.
