I love how soft and warm it is for my baby. I originally ordered them at 18 months but I have a small baby. He just turned 1 year old, weighs just over 20lbs and fits perfectly into 12 month clothes so I ordered a 12 month size too. However, I feel that they are not very stretchy due to the material, so I sometimes find it difficult to pull them into his diaper. They were loved a lot and used a lot so now I'm glad I have a size 18 months to wear now. I would say that it would not be bad to try them on, you would use them longer. But they are very comfortable! We live in the desert and the winters are very cold but it seems to keep his feet warm.
