Review on Saim Portable Aquarium Battery Operated by Carmen Rosean

I don't often take the time to write reviews but felt it was necessary. I live in California and have had several planned outages - one lasted 3 days and the last lasted a total of 5 days. This pump kept my fish alive - I have a 20 gallon tank with a large amount of cherry barbs in the tank. The pump will run 4 full days on 2 D batteries. I removed the biocarrier from my two Aqua Clear 50s and placed it on top of the air stone to keep the water moving. After power was restored I put all my media back in the filters and never experienced an ammonia/nitrite or nitrate spike so the air pump did a great job of keeping my bacteria alive. If you have fish, you definitely need something like this. It's cheap insurance. I'm going to buy a second one, so stock up. Even if the air pump gives up the ghost tomorrow, I still think it's a good buy - it worked great for 5 days without electricity.
