Offers great connectivity with Plantronics Backbeat Pro headphones, but WAY overpriced. If it was about 1/3 the price I paid I would give it five stars without reservation. The connection provided is of higher quality than the built-in Bluetooth adapter. This adapter provides an almost instant and hassle-free connection to your Plantronics Backbeat Pro headphones. Note, however, that while the range is much better than most built-in Bluetooth transmitters, it's nowhere near the range advertised in Plantronics' marketing materials for the Backbeat Pro headphones. This adapter has an LED to indicate the connection. Status which I found very helpful. It lights up in different colors depending on the current connection status of your Backbeat Pro headphones. Flashing purple = A high-quality audio connection is established to hear stereo sound. Solid blue = Basic audio connection is being established for use with communication applications such as GoToMeeting or Skype Blinking blue = Basic audio connection is actively in use with a communication application. Solid red = When a connection is established with basic sound quality and the MUTE function is active, the LED lights up red.
