It seemed to work great out of the water and the remote is well built. Unfortunately, after the second entry into the lake, the collar decided to walk on its own. My dog was very upset and I knew immediately something was wrong so I ran over and took off the collar. I held both the wet collar and the remote in my hand (to make sure the remote wasn't accidentally pressed) and the collar continued to work on its own. I've found the collar just vibrates (not shocked, thankfully) but that's still unacceptable. Before putting the collar on my dog, I took precautions to ensure all the seals were tightly closed to keep water out (as I expected it to swim at some point that day). However, the collar does not fit me at the moment and I will contact customer service to see if they can refund my money. I'll update after I get in touch to see if they've been helpful!
