Before we got this training collar, my dog was wild. To the point where we wanted to drop it. He had food aggression, toy aggression, and he was the worst! Steal a whole roast off the counter, eat the bark off every tree in our yard, dig up the yard. This was even possible with daily walks and sleigh rides of 10 km once a week. This is a yellow labrador named Ben. I wouldn't say Ben is the most obedient dog in the world now. But he's in awe of where he's been! And now he is very well educated. Well, this collar isn't a panacea for bad behavior. It takes time, patience and consistency. We chose this device because of its many functions. The lights on the collar are very bright! will light your way. We live in the Northwest Territories of northern Canada where it is around 8pm in the winter. The extra collars were also a very nice feature. Our dog. All we have to do is press the green button on the remote control, it will beep and that's enough to stop the negative behavior. I'm not a professional trainer. I watched videos and read a lot of textbooks. Do a little research to see if this is a good training method for your dog. If you are an experienced dog trainer, this collar will not disappoint! Our dog is a family dog and we would like him to be a hunting dog too. This unit has worked well for us. I highly recommend the Garmin Pro 550.
