Review on 🎋 Natural Two Tone 14" x 11.5" Bamboo Serving & Cutting Board - Totally Bamboo Kauai by Jorge Bryant

I bought this bamboo cutting board to replace an old one that has served me well for a long time. This cutting board is very (very) light. My older one was a little thicker, but I can't believe they would be the same weight even if they were the same thickness. I've had it for about six months and while it's a great cutting board I don't enjoy using it. I had to put a kitchen drawer liner under the cutting board to keep it from bouncing on the counter when cutting food. Right out of the box, the finish wasn't very good. It was a bit rough to get my hands on (I'm still trying to fix this with table oil and hard brushing). I haven't progressed to sandpaper yet, but that's my next step. Too bad I couldn't handle it before buying it (I probably would have changed my mind). Even after prolonged use, the board will not leave knife marks, so that's a sign of a long lifespan.
