Review on EASYBERG 5 Gallon Aluminum Street/Drift/Strip/Racing Fuel Cell: Black Gas Tank with Level Sender, Silver Coated - Enhanced Performance and Durability by Kevin Singh

Not as it seems. on spare parts

This fuel cell has not been advertised. I bought it for a show car but it's not show quality. It is not polished to a "mirror chrome polished finish" or has the appearance of chrome and the hardware is not welded on. I sent this gas tank back without even taking it out of the box because as soon as I opened the case I could see that it was matt gray untreated aluminum. Not at all as advertised. The seller says the tank is filled with foam, but that's not the case. There is a piece of fuel cell foam at the bottom of the tank. I've read several questions and answers about foam. It is not designed to prevent the fuel from splashing in the tank, it is too small. It is not intended to protect the fuel supply unit as no protection is provided. I put my hand in the tank, the foam appears to be 2, maybe 3 inches thick and maybe 8 inches by 12 inches wide. I think the manufacturer put it there so they can say there is foam built in, which is true, but it's useless, you have to remove the foam. You can buy whatever you want, but be careful what you buy. It's not pretty, but functional.
