Review on 🔪 20x15x2.25 John Boos Block RA02-GRV Maple Wood Edge Grain Reversible Cutting Board with Juice Moat by Alexa Gay

This would have been a great board although believe me it wasn't handled properly during the manufacturing stages. Received the board, very dry so oiled. A week later I noticed small cracks where the board was pressed. became more aggressive with the lubrication and did both sides twice a week. Now it's been about 3 months since I bought it and the board is more or less useless for slicing meat because there are 2 big compartments crossing the juice tray. It would have been a good board if it hadn't started to separate. My mistake was that I didn't start the return process the moment I saw the split. Not worth the money would be nice but either they've been in storage too long or they're defective. I am familiar with meat blocks and their care, having had a meat block attachment for 15 years unfortunately they do not stay together with proper care.
