Review on 🔬 Seachem Matrix Carbon 1L by Cody Simmons

I really like this stuff. I've been using cheap standard base charcoal for years and have decided to switch to Chemipure and Chemipure Elite. I've found them to work amazingly well and have made my aquarium really crystal clear. However, these products can get quite expensive and may not last as long as advertised. I finally tried this product in my canister filter and couldn't believe how crystal clear they made my tank. I know some people say carbon is useless in an aquarium other than to eliminate odors, but this stuff works just like Purigen and cleans the aquarium well. There are no more suspended particles and the water clarity is amazing. Also, do not be alarmed if this product undergoes a noticeable chemical reaction when placed under the dishwater. It's okay. I've been using it for about 4 months and I'm very happy with the results it's brought. I change the amount in my canister about every 2 months and it has been fine. The only reason I replace it at all is my desire to replace carbon every month, which has been instilled in me since I started farming fish. I highly recommend this product.
