I really like this collar. Easy to put on with plastic buckle. The chain is a good weight for my boy. I wanted a heavier chain. My friend has wire and doesn't mind that the chain can bleach his hair. I only use it for our walks. It doesn't rest on him. I like that it's reflective. This is a 70 pound American Bulldog puppy. He walks easily, but when excited he is very strong. I used a fabric martingale and a metal choke until my order arrived. The fabric didn't hold up so well 7 days after putting it on. The strangulation made me worried that he might get hurt. This collar actually gives me a better response and makes it easier for me to pull him back when he's excited. I just ordered a second collar for my American Bulldog mix. She weighs 60 pounds but is very strong when excited. My only complaint is that the small plastic loop that needs to be slid aside to keep the collar from coming loose doesn't stay in place. The collar must be tightened regularly. never mind The stuff is hard. Perhaps over time it will soften and the tan will not wash off as easily. ***Edit** The collar I bought for my small dog became too big over time. Customer service is amazing! They send me less to try on. ❤️
