I've used three different Dell OEM AC adapters and after my last adapter's cords began to fray, I reluctantly decided to replace it. I didn't want to spend a lot so I looked for my cheapest option that looked the most decent and went for it. However, I'm happy with how well this thing works for me. I immediately noticed that it was a copy of the Dell Latitude power supply in design, although it wasn't that heavy. The brick feels a little hollow like there isn't much in it, but that doesn't matter because it still works. It powers my laptop just as well as any of the OEM adapters and doesn't give the annoying "adapter not recognized" error that some non-OEM power adapters sometimes have. The only thing I can say I don't like is that the cable is a bit shorter than what I'm used to from my OEM adapters, but it's not such a big difference that I can't live with it. If you are looking to replace your dead adapter I would say this one is as good as any.
