Bought this backpack for day trips to the Smoky Mountains. You really can't ask for more at this price. The outside of the pack gives you plenty of options to carry more than you can fit inside. I've even gotten rid of night bags by tying them to the bottom and front of my backpack. I can easily fit my 14 inch laptop in my water bag. However, it should be noted that the pocket is designed for hydration bladders, not for electronics, so it is not pulled up. This means if you have a computer inside and you just drop your bag on the floor, your laptop will fall to the floor. The backpack is very durable as it is made of 600d Cordura. It's not waterproof, so keep a trash bag in there to line it up in case you need it. Another thing to note is the lack of internal organization. Just one big pocket and one small pocket on the back for a hydration bladder. Same story with the "admin bag". No pouches or loops. Just a small pocket to put everything you need quickly. Also very comfortable. The straps are thick and soft, they hold the load well on the back without squeezing it. It has a chest strap with an emergency whistle that is LOUD. All in all, I think you'll have a hard time finding a better bag for less than $40. I would recommend it to anyone looking to save a few bucks.
