I bought this glove because they said it was thicker. My first glove looked the same but was thinner. The first glove I had was thick enough to repel my iPad Pro's palm, but my Cintiq touchscreen was too sensitive. The Cintiq touched the edge of my hand even when I was wearing a glove. This thicker glove is thick enough that my palm doesn't show on the Cintiq's sensitive screen. The only drawback is that the hand gets warm. I didn't find it lacking enough to dock the star. Note: After using a thicker touch glove on the Cintiq, I disabled touch. That's because the touch-sensitive features in Photoshop are inefficient in my workflow.
