Review on Powkoo Sponge Airline Aquarium Gallons by Samuel Reppa

Great little filter for nano aquariums I'm sure but I bought it for 20 gallons and seasoned the filters in a 40 gallon grower. The pump can barely generate enough pressure to break the water surface with a tube 2 inches below the surface, so we need a bigger one instead. Also, the pump is constantly vibrating off the table so it needs to be nailed down, which is probably why it has an eyelet hook on one end. LOL Buy a sponge filter and add a bigger air pump and you should be fine. In my opinion, this pump will not provide adequate circulation in any tank larger than 10 gallons. The shortest cable I've ever seen. Use an extension cord as it was too short to get to an outlet next to the tank. Due to the short cord and lack of power in the pump I cannot recommend this as written. The one rated for 65 gallons might do 40 liters but I would buy 2 just to be on the safe side.
