I was hesitant to order an unbranded filter but I'm fed up with Ford cheating their customers on something as simple as filters. In this regard, I have checked all filter sizes with a micrometer and all meet Motorcraft OEM specifications. The filter material appears to be of a higher quality than any other well known brand and is fully encapsulated in epoxy with no visible voids. Finally, I love that the filter is wrapped in plastic in the box, Motorcraft doesn't even do that.
