My previous filling hole was just a hole in the side of the camper. You *can* pour water in it, but not quickly, and not without a good filler or cause. This is better and more practical. I loved the price and the simplicity. But I assumed it wouldn't leak and was disappointed to find that it did. There is an O-ring that keeps it sealed when closed. But when the mouth is pulled out, its lower part has no seal inside the port. Thus, for every gallon poured, several cups end up on the floor. Still better than before though. For a version where the bottom is closed from the inside, I'd be happy to spend a few euros more.
