Excellent pasta. - Computer Components

EDIT: This connection was ranked as one of the top 6 connections for the Non-Metal/Liquid Cooling CPU Category Stress Test in Tom's Hardware Update 2017 for 85 different products. worth your money. My rig was 4 years old and used to have a decent paste, can't remember what was used as I didn't apply it, but after 4 years it got too hot for my comfort under load. This one seems to have hit the mark so far. It looks like the difference is around 1-4 degrees in standby and more under load. I tested Prime 95 a bit - I don't really need these kinds of stress tests as I've never seen stress like this in real life - and it wasn't. didn't heat up to 80 degrees at all, or at least not during the time I've been using the program. I bet my OC is a bit unstable on Prime, but even for gaming it's near perfect and the temperatures have been lowered which tells me I probably should have applied the thermal paste a bit sooner. The paste had a good consistency and was easy to spread. quite easy. I used the included expander and tried not to put too much on the CPU heatsink. I probably used a bigger pea, maybe too much. It looked good and as a plus this product isn't reactive anyway and won't ruin your motherboard if you get a little smeared after screwing in the cooler. All in all a solid purchase. Most of the curing is complete at this point and the setup is definitely running a bit colder than before.
