There are several problems with the device

I don't know if I have a defective block, or if it's just poorly designed, or both. The very first thing that struck me after plugging this device in was that the left channel was very quiet compared to the right channel. I quickly realized that the "Enter" selection key was the source of the problem. I had to press it several times to turn on the left channel at the correct volume. I assume there is a bad and/or dirty contact somewhere. I have another problem with the fader. It appears that the front and rear outputs are internally swapped. Either that or the outlets are mislabeled on the unit. In my test setup I only used the front outputs - the rear outputs were not connected to anything. When I turned the fader all the way to the left (forward), the sound completely disappeared. If I turned the fader all the way to the right (back) or to the middle position, the volume returned as usual. I then unplugged the cables from the front outputs and plugged them into the rear outputs and the same problem occurred, only this time it was reversed (d back in). If it weren't for these problems, I would really like this equalizer. I will be returning my device and ordering another one and see if these issues persist with the new device. If I turned the fader all the way to the right (back) or to the middle position, the volume returned as usual. I then unplugged the cables from the front outputs and plugged them into the rear outputs and the same problem occurred, only this time it was in the reverse order (i.e. fading out the back muted the sound and fading out the front brought it back in). ).
