Review on 🌧️ Waterproof and Easy-to-Apply Liquid Rubber Concrete Foundation Sealant - Outdoor & Indoor Coating, Black, 5 Gallon by Marc Zitnik

Easy water purification. Effective and easy to use.

I used this product after repairing my 80 year old primer. The house was built in 1923, and at some point what we locally call the "Michigan basement" was dug under the house. At the time, waterproofing wasn't a preventive measure and I had to do a 400-pound lime mortar repair. I used a RapidSet brand grout that cures at 6500 psi. After all this work, a friend and mason recommended Red Gard as a waterproofing measure. I wanted to use resin. Since tar on the block is not a code approved way unless you clean the outer block, and Red Gard is not recommended for applications that may be subject to hydrostatic pressure, I did a little research and found this product, Liquid Rubber foundation coating. here on Revain. After 3 layers I am satisfied with the result. Fills small cracks well; it's easy to work with (I used a 3/4 nap paint roller and an old 3" wooster brush that was out of service. I rinsed the brush and roller every time I used it, and leaving the brush head submerged in water between uses (just make sure you wash off any water before use), non-toxic, low odor and easy to clean with water. And I wanted to use resin! That would be a lot dirtier and the fumes annoying. So glad I went this route. When backfilling, I tried to use a sandy backfill that didn't have any sharp objects or rocks in it. I wholeheartedly recommend this product and will buy more in the future.
