Based on other reviews allow for membrane release in about 2-1/2 months. However, it is one of the few quiet and powerful pumps on the market. We use it to score four airstones in our koi kennel. However, an extensive internet search turned up no instructions or photos on how to swap out the two membranes, ref. ASIN B07RKZYPDT on Revain. These photos (in reverse order of disassembly) will help you a lot, but as the seller states you may want to change your mind if you've never taken things apart before. Be sure to tighten all screws securely as the inner chamber is an airtight area and you will be taking photos along the way. Much luck!
