Easy to put on and take off. Use it on my Pyr and take it off after every walk for the last 6 months. Nevertheless, the clasp is very firm and snaps in well. The color is as shown, does not crumble and does not stain the dog's coat when wet. My dog hasn't tried chewing on it so I don't know if that statement is true, but it's definitely a strong fabric that doesn't look like it's going to tear or wear out anytime soon. The D-ring is well positioned and holds all the marks it needs and doesn't look like it's going to break anytime soon. I don't use this collar with a leash (I have a martingale for that) but I'm sure it will work fine.
