As soon as I open the box I feel like it's heavier than most other shears I've bought which means they contain more metal and hopefully longer should hold. I used it to chop a bunch of spring onions and it cuts the whole bunch easily. I also use it for butchering whole fish (like tilapia). It goes smoothly through the fish's belly and cuts through fishbones with ease. These scissors don't have any fancy extras like bottle openers etc but I need scissors. I feel that the extra features make the scissors difficult to use at times. That's why I personally prefer these simply good scissors to other all-purpose scissors.
