My old pump broke from running it too long (filling up three cars non-stop). My only requirement was that I wanted one with the auto shut off (when it reaches desired PSI) that has it. It also has a button at the end of the connecting line that can be pressed to deflate. I think it's good if you didn't set the watch face correctly and pumped it up a bit too much. Other reviews mention that the sensor is not accurate. I think it applies to any of these bottom auto shut off pumps. The main thing is just to figure out where to adjust the wheel to get the desired results. I found it pretty consistent. For example, if I set the red needle on the impeller to 40 and let it stop by itself, then check the pressure with a reliable pressure gauge, it reads 35. I actually want 35 in my cars so I just set it to 40 and it constantly fills up to the desired psi. Close enough for government work! (I don't actually work for the government, but you get the idea)
