Greatly improved Godox command module over the old one

I have two of these units on my X-T2/T3. Group buttons have greatly improved the usability of this type of controller compared to the old one. The hot shoe lock works well and engages securely with a distinctive click. The battery is still accessible from below and is just as difficult to access in the camera as it was in the old one. battery indicator. Well, let's just say it takes a lot of work. Even with a fresh set of batteries, it still shows a loss of 1-2 strips. The menu system is also sparse in explaining what each function does. One of the two devices does a weird lockup on my X-T3 from time to time and won't release camera controls until I either unplug the battery from the camera or just flip it over. from the Godox controller. RF Range - I have yet to test how far the signal will travel. It works great for a large room and seems to have a range on par with my TT685. I want the device to pass TTL signals and not just to the drummer. The flash on top of the controller doesn't receive TTL information from the camera's hot shoe, so it's just a dumb manual flash.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
