Review on Corsair Carbide Series 175R Black Mid-Tower ATX Gaming Case with Tempered Glass & RGB Lighting by Alex Britton

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Buy something else, just don't buy this case!

The main problem here is a faulty front panel and a faulty MAIN POWER SWITCH. means a button to turn on his system! the power button, both cables to the front panel are just badly connected, both on the cable and the leads to the front panel, and the motherboard connector was mounted so poorly that they don't make contact. Yes, I could re-solder the cable to make it work properly, but the point of buying one of these cases, especially from a manufacturer like Corsair, exceeds the quality expectations and frankly, this case isn't worth the money we paid for it. spent! Other minor issues, very poor cable management and poor fan layout, why are cooler fans needed preventing access to the 12v connector for any intel motherboard. You could argue that you don't need it, but due to the massive airflow in this system, you need every possible fan just to keep your system cool! Finally, honestly, the cost I paid at the time of purchase isn't worth more than $5 with the poor quality control that was done in this case! In general, buy something else!

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • Easy repairability
