Defective power cord
The power cord was defective right out of the box. I suspect a short in the power cord connector as the LEDs turn on and off depending on the bend in the cord. Invalid Factory Quality Assurance. Unfortunately I couldn't return to Revain as I unboxed the unit after the 30 day return period had expired (lesson for me β check the lights right away!).
