Know what you want before you buy it. If you want a plain lip that sticks out about an inch or so, that's fine. The main problem with these rubbers is that they are difficult to keep straight. First it will be folded out of the box so leave it in the sun or use heat to flatten it out a bit. When installing, the hardest part is being careful not to create ripples on the edge, as many people do. It does better on an outwardly curved surface (like many front bumpers) as it will straighten up more when stretched. On a flat surface such as B. the side of a car, however, it MAY remain wavy. I would say firm firm lips are better for the sides. The glue is fine, but I used screws anyway because the glue only lasts for a while. The screws also helped smooth out the parts where they were the most wavy.
