I confess I had a cave from another brand and it was good, but not as good as this felt cave! This felt cave is 100% wool and unlike my old one is very, very strong. As you can see, sometimes I like to hide in it, and sometimes I like to smooth it down. My old cave has been flattened so many times that it no longer holds its shape, but the felt cave instantly bounces back to normal when I'm ready for it! I love that not only is it beautiful, strong and thicker than my old cave, but also that it was handmade by artisans in Nepal and made from 100% biodegradable, renewable and certified sustainable New Zealand wool. I may be biased, but I think gray looks perfect and is one of those rare types of cat furniture that looks as classy and modern as most human furniture, you're sure to find a Felt Cave color that's perfect for your home. A question I am often asked by friends who have seen the cave is whether it is easy to clean. Luckily we haven't had to wash ours yet, but I spoke to the company and they said you can definitely hand wash them in warm water and then wring out as much moisture as possible to get them into the shape you want. and once it's dry it's ready to go!
