I love the idea of why this was made. However, the material is similar to aluminum? Or anything close to the magnetic closer. The AirPod case doesn't have a strong magnetic hold when you close it due to the dust cover. Likewise. If you try to stick it on a magnet, you won't be able to line it up perfectly due to the material the dust cover is made of. I didn't want to come here to give a bad review. I found this to be an amazing idea for the money you are paying. However, it does not lie flat as my photos show. In one corner or another it has a slight rise. My AirPod was really on guard. During assembly, the upper part of the protection was torn quite easily. I installed exactly as instructed. Didn't do me justice. I would save your money and buy elsewhere. Let's see how this company takes care of its people who have problems and the review may end differently. But right now I would not spend money on this product.
