Very poor design, best in Computer Accessories & Peripherals

I bought this for my home office work. I have two 32 inch displays that I have installed. First, let me say that I used two PC-ready HDMI TVs, they weigh about the same, if not less, than a standard 32-inch monitor. So, I'll list my pros and cons here: PROS If you want to set up dual monitors and whatever you're doing doesn't require any real changes to your browsing, this will work, it's solid enough. The desk clamp is large and easily fits the thickness of my desk top. Once tightened it stays in place. CONS 1. I have used several monitor mounts and have one in my office at work. Usually all you have to do is attach the mounting plates to the standard screws on the back of the monitor and the monitor will somehow snap onto the bracket. NOT so with this mount, the plates attach to the monitor but then you have to slide them onto the mounting arm which is then secured with a small cap screw. One of them crumpled and tore under very light pressure. The monitors sag immediately and the tensioning screw is covered by plastic plugs, not a very good design2. The stand is only adjustable horizontally and laterally. If you want to adjust the height, you must completely remove the armrest bolts, decrease or increase the height, and then reinsert the bolts. If you're trying to do this yourself, good luck, you'll most likely need to unmount your monitors to do this setup. BIG PAIN! If you're looking for that sweet spot of having your monitors in the perfect position so you don't have to look up or down. DO NOT BUY THIS MOUNT. 3. I have two different monitors, one is curved and the other is 32 inch flat. As you can see in the picture. The curved monitor mounting plate is lower at the base of the monitor while the flat plate is closer to the center. Because the mounting arms are not independently height-adjustable, they move a lot. No big deal but it drives me crazy. 4. Finally, if you install them in a place where your space is a little limited, it's again a pain and poor design. The bracket arms are linked to conceivably support two widescreen monitors and properly adjust the distance between them. The problem again is that if you want to slide those monitors together for a seamless workspace AND your desk should be flush with the wall when your monitors are pushed together the arms form an "M" shape what means that only points the M's are flush, if you need to adjust them further you have to move the entire table forward, which I personally don't want. All in all, I'm not saying that this monitor does what it promises. , but poor design made me look for something more adjustable.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Damaged
