Review on 🧼 OXO Stainless Steel Good Grips Sinkware Caddy: Organize Your Sink in Style! by David Stewart

I've been using this device for a few weeks so here are some initial observations. According to Oxo, the stainless steel case appears to be brushed stainless steel. It measures approximately 4 x 5-1/2" and the plastic liner is 1/4". The overall height of the block is 5-1/2" including the drain board. The depth of the undivided side is 5" and that of the split side is 3-1/2" (raised, see image). The two compartments are divided equally. The unit weighs about 1lb-1oz (477g).The drainage holes are relatively large, which allows water to drain, and it's far from moldy.I find stainless steel gets easily soiled with water, but our area has hard water (Mineral deposits).It cleans well with the stainless steel cleaner we use on the fridge or with 25% vinegar in water.Again, the drain holes are large enough to be effective (see image).One split side is split in two and leaves Things like sponges stand up.The other side is undivided allowing larger items like a Brillo pad to sit/scrub.For testing purposes I put an oxo meat mallet in a device that weighs 14 ounces and is 10" tall, and the device does not have it over tipped over the wetlands - meaning spatulas and other kitchen utensils fit inside. I squeeze the sponge with my hand, I don't think the sponge will have dried up the next morning, but we live in a cool climate and save electricity at night by heating our homes sparingly. The device is easy to use. The clear base has a slot for drained water to be poured into for easy removal and draining/washing the clear base or putting in the dishwasher. In general, except for the easy-to-clean gutters, I'm happy with the purchase.
