Review on 🚫 Dorman 800-994 5/16-Inch Line Terminator Block Off Kit for O.D. Lines by Michael Heidelberg

I used these to block the back of the air conditioning unit on my 12ft E350 van. I found where the line forked and within 12 inches of the T I cut the lines with an L-profile pipe cutter and then sanded them down to ensure smoothness. I had the local handyman evacuate the AC before cutting the lines and they did a vacuum test before pumping it back up. Since then, the air conditioning has been blowing cold! I am very happy with this blocker. I used threadlock on the threads and some PAG 46 refrigerant oil to lubricate the o-rings to ensure excellent performance. I also used torque wrenches to prevent over tightening the bolts. The hardest part was finding the right size. I recommend cutting the lines as close to the tee as possible. I've read that if you are in the base of a car, compressor oil can collect there and burn out your compressor.
