Desoldering gun works fine so far. However, I also got a power cord mixed up with hot and neutral pins as mentioned in other reviews. Luckily I had a backup coordinator on hand. The heat gun heats up quickly and regulates the temperature. Although I'm not exactly sure. At the lowest setting (100) the temperature is low enough not to burn you as you might expect. What I really like is that when the hair dryer is placed on the stand, it automatically goes into SLEEP mode (SLP) after it cools down to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. After lifting the hair dryer off the stand, it will return to the previously set temperature. Function to extend the life of the heat gun. The device appears to be well made.
