I bought this because you don't need to pair this with your phone and use an app to enable transparency mode. I use them in my office and I'm usually happy that I can listen to music and still be aware of my surroundings. The headphones are great for both battery life and sound quality, but I spend a good 60 percent of my time using them, constantly adjusting them and either twisting or pushing them in my ear enough to get a good sound get. I've had very cheap wireless headphones that lack sound quality, but the comfort and ease of use is better than Mifos. I even forcibly put other longer ear pads on the mifos than my cheap earbuds and it drastically improved the seal and sound quality in my ear BUT they don't fit the charging case. In my opinion, this is just a bad example of form, not function. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere unless you NEED manual transparency like me.
