You are welcome to purchase these for use with standard Ford aluminum wheels. I installed them on my 2011 F150 FX2. I was a bit hesitant after reading information from both the seller and several other buyers that these nuts would not fit stock aluminum rims. If you came here looking for replacement lug nuts for Ford wheels, you already know the terrible quality of standard lug nuts. They are a zinc plated steel nut with a thin chrome plated sheet metal cover. Once or twice when changing tires for a change, and the caps are dented so badly that you can't put your head on them without a hammer. I actually had to remove the chrome piece from the pair, otherwise I couldn't tighten them (see photo). The conical contact surface of these IS is slightly smaller than the original. I suspect that's why the seller doesn't recommend them. If you look at my attached photos you will see there is a tiny difference. I'm absolutely certain these nuts will work just as well as the originals, especially now that I can tighten them accurately. Note: These are listed as 7/8" or 22mm socket size. The correct socket size is 22mm. 7/8" is a little sloppy, although it will do in a pinch. Include a 22mm deep socket with your order as these are larger than standard sockets and your original socket will not fit. Delivered early in perfect condition.
