Review on 🛀 Moen DN8386BN Retreat Collection Bathroom Hand Towel Ring in Brushed Nickel with Hardware by Tara Farmer

We purchased three of these half rings for our renovated bathroom to match the double and single 24" towel rails on the same Retreat model. However, they stick out too far from the wall. This can be ok if it works well, but in my case it's too big and there's no room to trim down like the rod models. You could cut the rods shorter in a pinch, but not in a way that keeps them closer to the wall. I love them and they are well made as are the TP holders but I think I'll have to sell them on Ebay at a discount. The seller must state how far they protrude from the wall. Instead I installed three triangular towel/robe hooks in their place and am now ordering a fourth triangular hook because I hang dresses and jackets on them when they are for towels so I decided to add another one to solve this problem. I hang wet towels on the double shower curtain rods to dry before they end up in the laundry basket as the hooks don't help air them out enough. Towel rings also don't let enough air through a damp large or larger bath towel. But use a similar one in our other tub, only these rings aren't half round and I really liked the idea of half round instead. I would change them but the rings on top match the other high end towel rails which are fine although they came with the house. It's just that the towels hang better in half circles than curved full circles due to the flat bar. I just don't recommend for us. (The salesman comes and tells prospects and customers how far he sticks out of the wall.)
