This is a nice little remote control that does exactly what it's supposed to do. I bought this for my wife who unfortunately has dementia. Regular TV remotes from cable companies, as well as those you can buy in stores, have many buttons and are too confusing for you to use. (Even the little Sony RM-EZ-4 was too confusing!) This one fit the bill perfectly. She uses it to turn the TV on and off, increase/decrease the volume on the TV, and change cable TV channels. That's all! Nothing special! Setup was easy and worked well. However, I'm deducting a star from the overall rating (it's supposed to be half a star) because the production markings have obscured the markings (channel and volume) on the remote, but that's not the case. does not affect the overall operation of this cute little remote control.
